Now we do it for fun. But can you imagine having to cook on this stove everyday to make meals. Many times I think what it must have been like for previous generations to prepare meals on a stove like this everyday. I bet it was't fun back then. The waffles are the best when cooked with an H.W. Reimer waffle iron (with the hearts) and smothered in the famous Mennonite white sauce :-)
