Plautdietsch word of the day: schacha
Pronounced: sha-ha
What it sounds like: A Latin American dance
What it really means?
Example: Leina thought that Hein was spending to much time watching the Beverly Hillbillies on Natflix, so she took the TV to the Hutterite colony to trade it for a pig. This of course made Hein very upset so he promptly went out and bought a 72" Smart TV with dual remote control. Johan Hoffer thought it was a good deal until he realized that he'd have to hide the TV from everyone in the colony. Leina and Hein spent the next day making varscht, repschpäa and schmolt. Johan later traded the TV for an AM/FM radio because it was easier to hide.
Schacha: to barter or trade
